Free OCR AI provides optical character recognition (OCR) services that allow users to extract text from images. The Service includes free tier access with 100 one-time OCR credits upon registration, cloud storage, and various export options.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Free Account Benefits

Upon registration, free accounts receive:

  • Daily OCR Quota: 50 images per day for registered users
  • Cloud Storage: For storing your OCR results and images
  • History Tracking: Ability to view and manage your OCR history
  • Full Export: Complete access to batch export features

Guest users are limited to 20 images per day without registration.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or offensive content
  • Process copyrighted materials without proper authorization
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service
  • Use automated systems to abuse the free credit system
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others

6. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the OCR service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our Service without explicit permission.

7. Service Availability and Limitations

We strive to provide reliable service, but:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted access
  • OCR accuracy may vary depending on image quality and content
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service
  • We may impose usage limits or restrictions at our discretion

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Free OCR AI and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Free OCR AI and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
